A staunch New Yorker, Kewulay lectured for 25 years at the City University of New York (CUNY). He is currently a UNESCO Chair of foresight at the University of Makeni, Sierra Leone West Africa. Mr Kamara's documentary film, In search of the Finah Misa Kule, the Story of a People who live by the Word, explores the value of storytelling in Northern Sierra Leone. His latest film is Kani Kuru, the story of those left behind in the Middle Passage.
