The Wave is on its way: the next chapter of Dancing with Mountains is a planet-roaming pilgrimage, expected to travel across seven regions in late 2027. Working with local partners, it will bring and share the practice of Making Sanctuary into new soils and communities, in person and online, as it moves through ritual, gathering, and shared inquiry, carrying a postactivist spirit that trusts process and practice over fixed outcomes.
The DWM team is currently in the design, envisioning, and partnership-building phase, in the early tides of figuring out who it will move with, where it will be hosted, and what it will ask of us. We will soon be working closely with local hosts, holding the many open questions a program like this deserves.
